How UN-amusing

Postby steve on Mon Mar 24, 2008 5:59 pm

Curtis Taylor, according to BikeJournal.com, has logged 3,159 miles so far this year.
According to the same source, I have logged 1,511 miles over the same period of time.
Curtis has 1,648 more miles than I do - in fact, the difference between us in miles ridden is greater than the number of miles I have ridden.
How unamusing.

Thanks for reminding me to log my miles for the last week.

Is it >WRONG< that I'm about the only rider in the top 10 not from Florida, Arizona, or Texas?

Hey, I've been staying dry lately.

BTW: I didn't go from 3100 miles to 3600 by just entering last weeks miles. I also noticed I didn't have the first 10 days of the year in bikejournal, so I copied what I had for cycling in my Polar Precision SW calendar and got a few more miles... I'm kinda motivated now to make certain I get 4000 by the end of March.

I doubt if anyone else here actually has all of their miles from January 1st in bikejournal. So, don't think I've don't such a big deal. You all would be right there with me if you were as much of a geek as me.

NOT!

NOT!

While it's true that I haven't logged every mile I've ridden since the beginning of the year, I know I'm not in your neighborhood for total miles.

Let's see, 4,000 miles by the end of March...extrapolated over a year that's 16,000 miles. Musing McKinney has the "10,000 Mile Stare". I wonder what Curtis will refer to 16,000 miles as?
