The winter is coming and I'm interested in buying a trainer for my garage. If anyone is selling one I'd be interested in possibly buying a "pre-owned" trainer.

(I want to be certain you get the opportunity to ride only 30-60 minutes a day while I'm out building my fitness for next year. Perhaps you will find Beatty too daunting of a challenge and not land the fastest time next year.

Are you too afraid of getting wet or just plan on staying away from the hobgoblins that come out in the dark?

Seriously, I haven't used my blackburn for several years. It's a magnetic trainer. No frills. $50.

Not riding in the winter? You have it all wrong my friend. I work out on the trainer for 20 minutes before heading out into the winter cold - that way my body heat is up before leaving the house. I don't think it's going to be possible to post a good number on Beatty in the rain; all that torque with a skinny tire...I think it's just going to spin and spew water all over the place. Sounds kinda fun, not fast, but fun for certain!
