What Events are we Riding this Year?

Postby DaveyD on Thu Mar 27, 2008 1:55 pm

I have thus far signed up for the
Bike around the Buttes (4/19)
Grizzly Peak (5/4)
Monticello/Solano (5/18)
That's as far out as I can think now .... chip in with events you're signed up for - it will make Saturday ride planning easier!

The Death Ride is the only event that I have signed up for. I plan to do more but I have not sat down and look into it yet.

Konocti?

Postby steve on Wed Apr 02, 2008 6:59 am

I remember last October you had a bone to pick with the Konocti Challenge organizers for grossly under reporting the cummulative climbing numbers. But you overcame what you probably would not have chosen to do and now you're going back for more! That's the spirit, never ride around a hill you could ride over and soon there won't be any hills you can't, or haven't, ridden over.

I'll probably do that ride as well, it's one of my favorites even though a few of the roads at the end of the 100 mile route remind me of a carpet bombed section of Berlin in 1944.

I was thinking that it would be awesome for CycleFolsom (all groups) to show up in Force on one of these events, like Giro De Wino, etc....
For the "big-guns," that would mean slowing the pace but we can make it fun with sprint and KOM competitions as well.

thoughts?
