Do you know of a road closure, debris/glass on the river trail, a new road? Please, share the knowledge!

Valley View Pkwy in EDH

Valley View Pkwy (off of White Rock Rd) in EDH now goes all the way thru to Latrobe Rd - has a couple of connections to Latrobe near Golden Foothill Pkwy. It doesn't show on Google Maps, but if you use the Satellite View you can see it OK.

very cool! Another way to avoid parts of latrobe. They REALLY need to get their collective acts together and improve White Rock between the county line and placerville road. It's very dangerous to cyclists. I don't ride there any more but saw someone on a recumbent the other day and the cars were like 2 feet from him at any time. It's sad but it's probably going to take an injury or worse to get anyones' attention.

South of 50

The trick to riding those roads out there is to go as fast as the vehicular traffic :)

The City's plan for the development of the are south of 50 includes Class 1 bike lanes everywhere. The developers who build there will foot the cost for those bike lanes initially, then pass the costs on to the home buyers and businesses that buy/rent those properties.

Nonetheless, there will be miles and miles and miles of new Class 1 bike lanes extending to the boundaries of the south of 50 sphere of influence.
