Paul, that's awesome! How far is your commute? How long have you been riding to/from work?

I started riding in early June... I don't remember the exact date. Tried a few routes before settling on the one I use now - it's about 10.5 miles, so about 21 miles per day.

Basically, from the Cameron Park Library to the EDH business park.

50 trips

Postby steve on Mon Aug 25, 2008 9:53 am

Paul, that's almost 50 trips to work...it's amazing the number of miles you can build up with a consistent, daily ride! Do you feel more vigorous at work after a morning ride?

yeah, I've been able to ride almost every day. And abot 60 of those miles were riding around the neighborhood getting used to the bike. I'd say i've actually ridden to work around 45-48 times.

Yes, I definitly feel more vigorous, energized when I get to work... but, gotta admit that when I get home after going up the hill in the heat, I feel a bit sapped!
