Look at the end of this ride:

<ok - ignore the slow speed - I'm working on it>

There is a road called "Montridge" that goes West off Ridgeview Drive up in El Dorado Hills. At the Base of Montridge, there is a right-turn down to Via Treviso (whatever a Treviso is, you have a via of it)

You are now dang-near in Folsom - in fact, there is a gravel path that takes you to a new neighborhood off Empire Ranch.

Feel free to climb back up to Ridgeview, and ignore the sustained 15% kicking up to 18%. For extra fun, take a left and follow Rocky Ridge back up to Ridgeview.

By the way, as we learned on Sunday - Taking Governor Drive to Ridgeview (part of this activity too) is a pretty dang nice little climb.

If you are still needing more work, Descend back down Montridge, but this time climb up Wilson and carry on to EDH Blvd and beyond.

Enjoy....DD

Beatty Dr Route

Many are aware of the Elmores Way -> Brittney route from Sophia Pkwy to EDH Blvd - perhaps to add a little extra climb on the way to Rescue Fire Station.

There is also a nice return kicker from EDH Blvd to Sopha Pkwy via Wilson, Powers Dr, Katie Way, and then down Beatty Dr to Sophia. Return back to Green Vally -> E Natoma to Bicycles Plus or do the shallow climb up Sophia to Iron Pt, Iron Pt to Folsom Blvd - rejoining the bike trail there.

Njoy!

PS: The street map still doesn't show Beatty Dr - but the satellite map does.

There are some steep sections in that area. I don't think Beatty ever gets easier. I try to climb it once a week or so.

Did a ride that started at Iron Point/ARBT, up the hill, left on Empire Ranch, up Beatty, left on Powers and up that. Through the gate and down the hill to El Dorado Hills. Then right on Wilson and climb that. Loop back North to repeat the descent earlier, then both Serrano's to Bass Lake/Green Valley/E Natoma to ARBT and return.

Good set of 5 hills.
